Hundreds of thousands of our neighbors across Chicago and Cook County are struggling to afford groceries and get the nutritious food they need.

Inflation rates today have driven food costs to the highest we’ve seen in decades. That, combined with the continued impact from the pandemic, is causing more families and older adults to face food insecurity.

Thanks to the George and Cindy Rusu Family Foundation and a group of generous donors, a $1 MILLION MATCHING CHALLENGE has been offered to help more of our neighbors facing hunger. That means your gift today will have TWICE the impact when providing quality food to our communities.
